Have you ever experienced the feeling of pure happiness following a good workout? In that moment, your brain is filled with BDNF, endorphins, dopamine and neuroadrenaline, which all contribute to an ideal state of mind for taking in new information. Add this to a culturally immersed environment (native speakers, movie screenings, book-clubs, conversations, seminars) and you get the best way to learn a language. We are introducing you a great language bootcamp where you will get fit and fluent – FLIT bootcamp!
WHAT IS FLIT?
FLIT is a holistic center which uses neuroscience-backed methods to teach foreign languages more efficiently. Using the positive effects of physical exercise on the brain, they combine group fitness and English, French or Slovak learning within a culturally immersed environment.
It’s a project of a Slovak and a Canadian girl who met in Brussels, had a passion for psychology and didn’t have enough time to work out while studying. The idea of combining these two came to their minds during a class at school. Later they reunited in Bratislava and here they go – offering now a double incentive which will keep you motivated, while making you part of a community.
Learning a new language goes hand in hand with learning about the country’s culture. Integrating new words and expressions through movies and discussions is the funniest and the most effective part of the learning process. Being a FLITer means an automatic access to all services offered. We are talking about book clubs, movie screenings, cultural events, conferences, etc. This will repeatedly expose you to the language you wish to learn. The center creates a culturally immersed environment in the comfort of your own city.
Programs are designed by psychologists and neuroscientists to guarantee optimal results. Satisfaction assessment is held every two weeks.
OUR TIP: check out the current special FLIT package which on top of a language course and CrossFit training offers a free Connecticlub membership and access to 4 „Introduction to Bratislava Culture“ workshops!
