Bratislava’s tram system has been an integral part of the city’s public transportation since its inception in 1895. As one of the oldest tram networks in Central Europe, it has witnessed the transformation of the city and played a crucial role in its development. Today, it stands as a symbol of the city’s heritage, connecting residents and visitors alike to its vibrant streets, cultural attractions, the Bratislava Castle and other hidden gems.

One of the most striking features of the Bratislava tram network is its seamless integration into the urban fabric. Trams glide through the city streets, sharing space with pedestrians and cyclists, offering a unique perspective of Bratislava’s daily life.
